This policy explains what personal information Reloca collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to reloca.co and to the residency facilitation services we provide.

1. Who we are

Reloca is a residency facilitation service assisting individuals with Mexican residency applications. For questions about this policy or your personal information, contact us at teamreloca@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Contact details — name, email address, phone number, country of residence.
Booking information — when you schedule an intro call, including any questions you answer during booking.
Application information — if you become a client, the documents and details required for a residency application. This can include passport details, dates of birth, marital status, address history, and financial documents such as bank or pension statements.
Correspondence — emails and messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, referring website.
Cookies and similar technologies — see section 5.

Sensitive documents. Financial and identity documents are collected only from clients who have engaged our services, only when required for an application, and are used solely to prepare and submit that application. They are never used for advertising and never sold.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense defined by California law.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to deliver the service:

Mexican immigration authorities (INM) and Mexican consulates — application materials, as required to process your application.
Our facilitators and partners in Mexico — the people who assist you on the ground.
Service providers — scheduling (Cal.com), email delivery (Resend), payment processing (Stripe), website hosting (Netlify), and analytics and advertising measurement (Meta, Google, PostHog). Each is permitted to use the information only to provide their service to us.
Legal and professional advisers, or where disclosure is required by law.

Because our service spans countries, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

Essential — making the site and the booking tool work. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics — understanding how the site is used (Google Analytics, PostHog).
Advertising measurement — the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API, which let us see which ads lead to booked calls.

Where required by law, analytics and advertising technologies load only after you consent through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API

We use Meta's advertising tools to measure the performance of our ads. This may involve sharing a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email address or phone number with Meta so it can match a booking to an ad click. Meta processes this as described in its own Privacy Policy. You can control how Meta uses your data in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients — up to 24 months.
Client application records — up to 7 years after the engagement ends, for legal and accounting purposes.
Analytics data — up to 26 months.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Delete your information, subject to our legal retention obligations
Withdraw consent at any time, including unsubscribing from emails
Receive a portable copy of information you provided to us
Object to or restrict certain processing

California residents

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you have the rights listed above, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to whom it is disclosed. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

Canadian residents

We handle personal information in accordance with PIPEDA and, for Quebec residents, Quebec's Law 25. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, and may address unresolved concerns to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable service providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 except as part of a family application submitted by a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
